A friend of mine, Dov Treiman, would like to discuss 32-bit music
programs with someone who has tried several of them. He is using a
Windows NT based system and has not had good luck with the earlier 16 bit
Cakewalk programs for composition and scoring.
Would Jody, Robbie Rhodes or Dave Wasson be willing to have a brief email
discussion with him ? or someone else with this experience ? His email
address is <lambsflite@aol.com>
Thanks,
Bob Conant
[ Bob, I'll forward this note to the MMD Computer Support Forum for
[ discussion. Windows NT is the Microsoft operating system widely used
[ in offices where the computers are linked together, as with Ethernet.
[ While its appearance resembles Windows 3.1 and Windows 95, its
[ architecture is considerably different (more like UNIX) in order to
[ avoid crashes of the whole network! Windows NT is also quite
[ expensive, and not many vendors of entertainment software publish
[ NT-versions of their products. Phone Cakewalk and ask what they
[ advise. -- Robbie
