I am glad everyone enjoys my music. Thanks :-)
We spend alot of time rebuilding 88 notes, 88 valves, 88 pneumatics and
the like...
Might as well play them ALL, thats what they are there for. I will never
forget a multi tune roll I did once. I played note 88 several times in the
number and my piano would jump into rewind (as did others).
Jody and Robbie keep up the good work!! The great thing about MMD is that
EVERYONE gets a chance to comment here, unlike some others that takes nothing
short than an act of congress to get published and takes forever to get.
I don't know where Jody and Robbie find the time to do such a great job in
twenty four hours per digest. My hat is off!!!

[ Editor's Note:
[
[ Andy, I really appreciate the kind words for what Robbie and I
[ are trying to do here. It __IS__ a lot of work. Since Robbie's
[ had time to do a lot of the editing for some time now, I've been
[ able to spend time trying to improve the mailing procedures, Web site
[ etc. I also spend some amout of time checking out other related
[ Web sites, experimenting with new technologies (Real Audio, Real Video,
[ Shockwave, Mpeg 3, AWE boards, PERL language, Linux, ISDN terminal
[ adapters, IRC, HTML, image scanning etc. Whenever possible I try
[ to share what I've learned with others in the group.
[
[ A surprising amount of time _IS_ consumed, but Robbie and are
[ both really enjoying the fact that the Digest is proving to be
[ useful and appreciated by so many people.
[
[ --- Shameless plug for your support follows ---
[
[ Robbie is a multi-talented guy and is going to be working on the X-33
[ reusable launch vehicle. The bad news is that the transfer has him working
[ at a new Lockheed facility more than 90 minutes driving time from his home
[ in optimum traffic conditions. He's indicated that he'll probably have
[ to rent a small apartment near his new job and only come home a couple
[ times a week.
[
[ Making it possible for Robbie to participate in editing from this new
[ location is going to result in increased expenses. Nothing is a local
[ phone call from there, and we've not arrived at a satisfactory way for
[ him to edit there without adding some hardware.
[
[ Up to this point, less than 20% of MMD's readership has volunteered
[ financial support to MMD's operation. To those of you who have
[ sent something, whether large or small, my grateful thanks.
[ To those of you who have not sent anything yet, this would be a
[ great time to pitch in.
[
[ I know some people have been reluctant to send anything because
[ an amount hasn't been specified or that sending too small an
[ amount might offend Robbie or me. Please be assured that every
[ check or credit card authorization that has been received, regardless
[ of amount, has been appreciated. We know many of you are on
[ restricted budgets. Thats OK. Send something. It will help keep
[ Robbie online while he's away from home.
[
[ Thanks much
[ Jody
