65 Note Piano Rolls
By Andy Taylor
Hi All
The results are in. The roll reader is going to work (if my tests are
accurate.)
Which Leads me to my next question...
Are the old 65 note rolls "interesting"? With a old pushup at the front
of my record piano, The 65 note format could be easily converted. My
question is:
Has anyone out there heard 65 note recordings?
Are they worth the expense and effort to preserve and convert?
I have about ten 65 note rolls. I think I know where to get a old pushup,
or outfit my reader with a 65 note spoolbox. But if the arrangements are
uninteresting, It is not worth the time or money.
I intend to build a fairly large collection of obsolete rolls on computer
discs. If the old 65 note format warrants it I will include them as well &
add some notes to them via cakewalk.
Well I am back to editing some MIDI files.
