Antique Museum in Stone Mountain GA
By Eddie Fulmer

My family recently took a little vacation to Stone Mountain in Georgia.
There we (I) found an Antique Car and Treasure Museum. Inside were 30
jukeboxes, 22 player pianos, and 6 Band Organs. All of these were in
?playable? condition. Needless to say I entered with a handful of
quarters. All of the machines were coin operated with some playing for
$.25 up to $1.00.

Being new to MM I am not very familiar with brands and manufacturers but
did find that there were several Seeburgs, a Welte, a Weber Grand and
others. Probably one-fourth of the collection consisted of orchestrions,
most of which needed some attention but still played. All of the band
organs played well and filled the whole museum with wonderful music when
called on.

The person operating the museum (taking up the money) didn't know
anything about the instruments except that someone from Baltimore MD
did the repair work. When and if you happen to go there, go ahead and
take a roll of quarters as you will spend them all!

There were also toys, trains, radios, clocks and a whole bunch more --
A really good place to visit.
