To all those MMD-er's who are waiting for the Museum Roll Sale: It's
still on. I was very close to having the list ready when the museum
was given a large number of rolls. After some consideration by our
curatorial staff, it was decided that some of this batch should be added
to the sale. I have added about 1/5 of these rolls to the list so far,
and still have quite a few to go. But have faith, *There will be a sale!*
I can tell you this about the rolls:
The most common genre's are waltzes, religious, Hawaiian, semi-classical
and classical. The vast majority are Imperial, QRS and very early
Aeolian. Almost all are in boxes. Most are playable, but some might
need minor repairs here and there. A very few really are in BAD shape.
If these dogs don't sell, we might throw them in as freebies. For some
reason, some of the rolls are wound inside out on the cores. These will
be sold at a VERY cut rate.
We will also consider trades. We are looking for Texas related music,
especially music by Texas composers like Euday Bowman (Fort Worth), Scott
Joplin (Texarkana) or David Guion (panhandle area). Also we are looking
for a vintage copy of Joplin's "The Entertainer". If you have something
you think we might be interested in, E-mail me with a description as soon
as you get our list, and we'll see what we can work out.
Thanks again for all your patience
[ Editor's note:
[
[ Now a word about _my_ patience: ye Editor's! Would you MMD authors
[ _please_ type your first & last name at the end of your letter, or
[ make sure that it's in the "from" line of the header!
[
[ Every evening, it seems, I must search the subscription records to
[ locate the real person's name associated with the e-mail address.
[ It takes time, and interrupts the fun of editing. :)

[ letters but forgot tonight, I guess.
