One thing to keep in mind if you are going to go this route is that there
may be all kinds of EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) requirements
for you to follow. You may find you need to register with the EPA as a
"hazardous waste producer" which could lead to annual inspections of your
entire shop, not to mention a lot of paperwork.
You'll also have to find a way to dispose of "used" solutions - this in
itself can be very expensive. The band instrument repair business I am
associated with quit doing "in house" plating because of these
requirements and the costs and time involved dealing with the EPA.
