Yes Gary, I have seen Mastertouch's full page, I also have their
catalogue here and have bought many rolls from them over the years via
resellers, mail order and in person at their factory. I even have a link
to the Mastertouch page on my own home page, so I have seen it.
I am not a reseller so the price I pay is the full price. But I _can_
buy rolls much cheaper overseas including the shipping out. Please don't
get me wrong, most of my collection are Mastertouch rolls, many of my
favourite rolls are Mastertouch rolls, they do make good rolls but since
I got the Internet I have found out the prices overseas and the ease of
getting them here, and feel I have been paying too much all these years.
I am now buying Duo-Art rolls (which Mastertouch don't make anyway) and
Recordo rolls from America and England for between Aus$18 and Aus$30 (30
for the big ones), and that price includes shipping. It is even cheaper
for normal 88-noters. Here I pay Aus$35-50 for a large roll plus
postage.
This was my whole point, I just think they are overpriced. The overseas
price mix-up was just that -- a mix-up. But that is what got me going on
the subject.
