The American prices are sales tax free, and if you look again you will
see the previously neglected note that these prices are for resellers
only. In other words the "USA + etc." prices are wholesale prices.
If you add a reasonable profit margin and shipping costs for overseas
retailers, and add sales tax, you would find the two prices are actually
very comparable.

Mastertouch has been very interested for a number of years and still is.
They contracted me five years ago to look into the feasibility of
adapting the roll editing and punching software to handle it. After
working out the hardware and software needed to cut from masters, and
even from old rolls, their development funds dried up. If someone wants
to invest or donate a few thousand dollars for it we could pick up the
project again.
