Chein Music Rolls
By Bill Burns

I have six 23-note music rolls made by J. Chein & Co., Burlington NJ.
They are 6.75" wide on red or black plastic spools; each roll has one
title on it. The latest copyright date on the rolls I have is 1950.
According to the box they came in, there were 42 rolls available in
categories Christmas Favorites, Children's Melodies, Sing-Alongs, Jazz &
Blues, and General. One of the titles I have is "The Old Piano Roll
Blues".

Does anyone know what instrument these are for? The song titles suggest
it was not a child's toy.
