Paris, June 1st 1997
Last Wednesday, May 28th, was the opening in Geneva of a large exhibition
of music boxes:"La boite a musique, une industrie genevoise". More than
300 pieces, from the musical snuff box to the largest cylinder or
disc music boxes, are exhibited in the Musee d'Art et d'Histoire in Geneva.
I was not able myself to go to the opening, but I spoke to-day on the phone
with Etienne Blyelle, organizer of the exhibition. Pieces come from the
CABAM (his collection and pieces from other members of the CABAM), but too
from other Swiss or foreign collectors.
The exhibition is opened daily, except Monday, from 10 am to 5 pm.

Address of the Musee d'art et d'histoire :
2, rue Charles-Galland, 1206 Gen0xe8ve
It is certainly worth a visit now, although more pieces will be presented
in the beginning of July.
This exhibition should be open until Sept. 21st. 1997.

[ In the address above, is a "0xe8". That is supposed to
[ be, I'm sure, a vowel with an accent mark. I'm sorry that
[ don't know what its supposed to be.
