Hi all,
While doing a web search using Superseek.com, I found a very
interesting domain (www.playerpianos.com) which is a business
called Orange Coast Pianos.
It's a very professionally built site and they say that they
act as brokers for all sorts of rare pianos including player
pianos. They also have an extensive listing of rare player
piano rolls in a variety of formats, i.e.,65 note pin,
Connorized, Dou/Art, etc. They also talk about the dedicated
staff of restorers/rebuilders. I tried to write to them but
I'm not sure I got through because the e-mail address led
to a dead page. The address, as I read it, was:
ocoast@forpianos.com and I did write to them at that address.
My question is this, does anybody actually know the people
that run the business? They appear to be a valuable source
of old rolls and players. (Now if we had a writer and a
director, we could put on a Broadway show. :-)
Musically,
John A. Tuttle
