I have been thinking, first, I think in a few years that the editors
need to come out with a how-to book, based on the archives, with a list
of the authors who wrote the articles.  Next, I think that we need to
compile a list to post on the web site consisting of ALL the mechanical
music instruments we know of that we own, that we've seen and can get to,
or that we could talk to the owners.  I know this would be a MOUNTAIN
of e-mail on the editors.  Maybe they could do a roll call, such as
MMDers last names A-D submit your sources one week and then call E-F
the next week and so on.  Then, the list would be alphabetic and
available at all times.
