As requested way back in December, I finally got a good photo of the
Ampico smokestack that's still standing on the grounds of the old factory
in East Rochester, NY.  Hey, maybe now we can make up T-shirts that say
"I saw the AMPICO stack!!"  Heh heh, eh, aw, never mind.

Currently, the factory grounds are a mini shopping mall (Piano Works
Mall), consisting of numerous small shops -- a diner, a video store, 
a hair salon, pizza, insurance, etc.  The smokestack is in the middle 
of the parking lot because the building around it was demolished during
renovations to create the mall; only part of the factory still stands
today.  The image is jpg format, UUencoded.  Enjoy!
