Moving Keys
By Phil Dayson

I was entertained to see Andy Taylors solution to the QRS Strip
problem. In the first Player that I restored many years ago the keys
did not go up and down --- Not a fault, it was designed that way.
What's the fun of a player piano if the keys don't move? I explained my
problem to the late Frank Holland of the British Piano Museum. His
solution--rubber bands per Andy Taylors description. No obvious affect
on the operation of the piano and it can be removed at any time.
