I would have to ask my father for details, but I know that a Mr. Geweke
of Bielefeld has built a barrel for our Bacigalupo. We were there many
years ago and as far as I can remember he was a very old and somehow
difficult guy. But as I said, that's just what I remember, so I don't
know if Max is the son, and I also don't know if there are still organs
built. I also don't know if he built many organs. Mr. Geweke is a
specialist for barrels so these organs would be barrel organs, which is
not quite modern.
If anyone is interested in barrels, then let me know and I tell you
another man who can build them. I don't make him public, else, we
wouldn't get him to get anything done, because of the mass of work he
would have to manage then. ;) (We still want another barrel for our
Bacigalupo.)
P.S.: If any further info on Mr. Geweke is requested, I'll try and get
some -- just ask.
