Liguid Hide GLue
By Phil Dayson

Mr Fulmer was asking about liquid hide glue.

When living in England I once used Sheppy brand liquid hide glue
Although called liquid it was really gelatinous and needed heating in a
glue pot like regular hide glue. The glue seemed to work well but the
smell of it was so vile that I finally threw it out. I recently
purchased a small restored instrument from the UK . It had that same
characteristic vile smell that only disappeared after baking in the
sun for six months.
