Player Technicians Listing
By John A. Tuttle
Hello All,
Just a quick update on the "Worldwide Listing of On-Line Player Technicians", which was last revised Easter Day. There are now a total (ta-da) of 37 technicians.
The new domain at: www.playercare.com, is continuing to grow daily as new information arrives. I encourage all working player technicians to join this list. The postings I made to various search indexes last year and the new links to the domain have increased traffic beyond my wildest dreams.
If you have the ability to create elaborate html pages, including graphics, sound and movement (moving gifs), I'd be more than happy to put them at the site or install a link to them.
Lately, I've been searching the Internet for every site that deals with Repairing and Maintaining Player Pianos. If you happen upon one that I've missed, I'd appreciate a short letter telling me where to look. If you know of a technician who is NOT on-line but would like to be included, I'd also like to know. At present, I have included them in the list with everyone else. As their numbers grow, I will put them in a separate category.
It's been quite a pleasure conversing with the ladies and gentlemen that have joined the list. I have found there is a common bond we share that goes way beyond player pianos and technical work. Anyone with a passion knows what I mean.
Musically, John A. Tuttle |
