Seek Box-covering Paper
By Richard Vance

Does anyone out there have a source for the glazed, colander-patterned colored paper used to cover music roll boxes? I am particularly looking for pigskin or 'Gladstone' patterned, dark wine-colored paper used by Aeolian Co. for covering early 65 and 58 note music boxes.

'Cover Material Sales Inc.' 800-225-7132, handles starch-coated fabric, including the olive-green material used to cover Aeolian Pipe Organ Music boxes. They are a very nice company to deal with, but they do not carry patterned plain paper; only plastic-impregnated embossed paper for bookbinding, which is too stiff for box covering.

Thanks, Richard Vance
