Simplex Themodist/Solodant
By Ed Chaban

I'm in the process of rebuilding a Simplex player and have come across a curious tubing configuration on the tracker bar. It seems that the tracker bar has 92 holes plus the sustain pedal hole. The last two holes on either side are connected together and then extend to their respective ends of the stack presumably to the regulator controlling each half of the stack.

This configuration leaves me with the impression it is meant to play Themodist rolls. Is this correct? Did most Simplex players have this feature?
