Remember "Playtime Music"?
By Darrell Clarke
G'day all, Some of you would remember "Playtime Music" who, mid-last year, were offering 88n and reproducing player rolls at very competitive prices, via a web site in Florida. After some investigation by Jody, the MMD was warned about doing business with them, and shortly afterwards, they disappeared. At least one of our members paid for rolls and never received them.
They had some very interesting rolls (to me at least) on their list and I have been wondering what has happened to their stock, assuming that it actually existed. As far as I know, they were only selling rolls, not making them.
I believe one of our members, who had received a roll, thought it had actually come from Play-Rite. Does anyone know what has happened to Playtime and their rolls?
Recently I tried to send a fax to Keystone, but it stopped part way each time (it still appeared on my bill). Can someone confirm their fax number please? Are they on E-mail yet?
Cheers, Darrell Clarke Adelaide, Australia.
