You mentioned something about the Armand Muth arrangement going on MIDI
file? If this is so, maybe transposing to roll format can be done for
the other three Wurlitzer roll formats, mainly 125, 150 and 165. I must
have opened up a can of worms with this tune. I know Matt Caulfield did
when he sent me the recording with this song, for now I can't get it out
of my head.

[ Editors note:
[
[ I believe that "Armand Muth" was an Erlebach pseudonym. The roll I
[ have sure sounds like it's arranged by Rudy Erlebach. Wayne Stahnke
[ attempted to transcribe my Golden Age recut (pb "Larry Arden"), but
[ gave up in disgust. He wrote:
[
[ "It is a poor quality recut copy, with missing notes, badly scattered
[ chord timing, new bridging created at the time of copying, and many
[ holes inserted by hand (by you?) in an attempt to improve it. I had
[ hoped that the original roll was coarsely cut (at 240 steps per foot,
[ say, as the QRS and Capitol rolls were) so that I could reconstruct
[ the master roll. ... No such luck.
[
[ "Let me reiterate my offer to help in scanning and making good new
[ copies of this roll. Some of the subscribers to MMD should help out
[ here. It's time for some of these people to engage in a little more
[ constructive work, and less in endless torrents of words. Let's see
[ some results!"
[
[ Ah, Wayne is a man of action! Anyhow, Gordy, if someone can loan
[ an original copy of the Erlebach performance we will transcribe
[ it in preparation for conversion to other formats.
