FS: 65-note Rolls
By Thomas Henden
For Swapping: I've got some 65 note rolls I bought before I got my own player, a Weber Aeolian, that only can play 88 note rolls, and 65 note players are rare here in Norway.
I would like to swap these rolls with a couple of (1-3) 88 note rolls, since 65 note rolls are worth less than 88 note rolls. All rolls are in good shape, but not all are in boxes.
I would like old roll(s) back, 88 note Standard/Themodist/Duo Art, popular music from the teens or twenties, or virtuoso classic music (piano, or arranged rolls from orchestra music.) Tell me what to choose from.
The rolls are: --- British Aeolian Roll; "Quand I'amour meurt" (Valse Boston) Octave Cremieux. w/box (originally sold in Copenhagen (stamped))
--- Universal T74441 c (l1612) "GEISHA" selection w/box (Jones) ( originally sold in Britain (also stamped))
--- Standard 65 note 8053 "Blue Danube Waltz" w/box (Strauss) (orig. sold in Copenhagen)
--- Standard 65 note 61911 "Mondnacht auf der Alster" Waltzer, Oscar Fetras (no box)
--- British Aeolian/Orchestrelle L 2230 "Hymna da Carta Constitucional" A. Portogueza. March (3 verses) A. Keil (no box)
--- "Bobadil Ballet Valse" (label has fallen off, roll is else in good condition. No box)
--- Themodist Metrostyle T 75763 "Traum-Walzer" ("Feldprediger" "Dream Waltz" Millocker (only lower part of box, with the wooden slots holding the spool. Strange enough there is no Themodist holes despite the Themodist Metrostyle label.
I will send you the mentioned rolls by surface mail, and you send back the rolls which we agree on.
