David Taylor, Master Piano Tech

I graduated at Newark and Sherwood College quite recently, under David Taylor, the senior tutor. He is regarded by many in this country as the best action man in the UK. Having been responsible for turning out a complete generation of piano technicians, he retires this summer. I would be very happy to pass on anyone's good wishes to him. His dry humour and tolerance will be missed by the next intake. It was my privilige to have been taught by him.

Incidentally, around Newark-on-Trent the bumper stickers read:
"Piano tuners do it till it Hertz"
