Yamaha Disklavier Quality
By Don Teach

I am a service tech for Yamaha Disklaviers. Of the 40 that I have sold, the only one that has given any problems is the one in a casino. That problem has been careless people with their drinks. Cleaning sugar- flavored drinks out of it has been the only problem. It plays daily for up to 18 hours a day and has performed without any failure due to its mechanical system for three years.

I also serviced one that had a mouse eat the wiring. Overall they are the best in my opinion. The pianos are excellent and the mechanics are very well thought out.
