Value of Nickelodeons

Al Menashe inquired as to why a Seeburg KT was worth a lot more than a Nelson Wiggen 5X. I would say the answer is that it is not, and Al may be high on his valuation of a Seeburg KT (I presume he isn't talking about a KT Special).
Coin piano pricing nowadays tends to be quite difficult, with asking prices all over the lot, but selling prices rather conservative -- having gone nowhere in the past five years or so. I would hope this would improve as these really are wonderful instruments -- all the multiple content coin pianos -- and they are scarcer than people seem to think.
The problems seem to be their size and their complexity. We sell perhaps ten to twenty of the more complex coin pianos per year, so they are moving, but not at the prices they are intrinsically worth.
