Suction Unit for Testing
By Colin Hinz

Having a controlled source of suction when I start stack work would of course be enormously useful, but I don't have a surplus electric player pump like Reblitz recommends. I suppose I could clone one if I were grimly determined, but I'd prefer it if my test gear weren't substantial projects in themselves. Are there any pumps kicking around for a moderate price? Failing that, are any of the suction units sold by the PPCo. suitable for this sort of thing?
