QRS Roll Auction Department
By Matthew Caulfield

Regarding the comment recently that the email address used on QRS's response to a roll auction bid might be someone's private home email account, that would not surprise me. As those who have toured the QRS factory might have seen, the roll auction department is a rather separate operation from the rest of the factory. The department is the responsi- bility of Dan Wilke, who occupies a large attic room in the factory, where he auditions, sorts, and lists the rolls up for auction. Dan does quite a job, considering that it is a one-man operation involving a lot of behind-the-scenes work.
