Hi Spencer! I know nothing of HP scanners but I suggest you post a message in rec.photo.digital on Usenet. The experts in scanning seem to monitor and contribute to that group and I'm sure you'd get a lot of response. There's also a new group called comp.periphs.scanner (or similar) but my news feed does not carry it as yet.
If you don't have access to Usenet, please let me know and I'd be more than happy to post for you; then, people could reply to you via email. I'm interested too! Thanks a bunch!
