Re: Web Page Lists Player Techs
By John A. Tuttle
I've made a few (I hope) improvements in the Player and Reproducing Piano Technicians Listing Page at:
http://www.concentric.net/~tuttleja/playtech.html.
I've added a Form Page and I've divided the list into regions (and I'd like to add more regions). I'm still not done with indexing the names on the playtech.html page, but that will probably be done by the time you read this posting.
A Midi file of player or reproducing piano music is needed for the main page. I am looking for contributions from someone on the list but I will gladly accept any "donations". You will get credit for donating the file and, if you wrote the song, you will get credit for that too.
[ I'll contribute a Midi file of "Piano Tuner's Etude" (otherwise [ known as the Test Roll, Opus 88 ! No royalty fees! ;-)
I'd like a little feedback on the project if you have a moment to look at it. I'm trying to stay as flexible as possible concerning the individual listings. Since they are now split into regions, and indexed on the main page, the length of the "field-of-expertise", "experience" and "basic charges" is no longer as limited as it was originally.
Again, I welcome _all_ "publicly" available player and reproducing piano technicians to participate in this FREE Listing. You can't get better advertising for free.
I've been asked about including some relatively well known technicians just because they exist. On this count, I can not oblige. I feel that if those individuals are interested in promoting their name and/or business, they will contact me just like everyone else on the list.

[ You're quite proper in not adding names without authorization, John. [ Customers who think highly of good technicians should urge the [ tech to contact you directly. -- Robbie |
