Introduction and Searle Electronic Band Organ
By Gordon Forcier

Hi, My name is Gordon Forcier and I am an avid mechanical music nut. I have a passionate love for band organs and player pianos and nickelodeons and orchestrions.

I currently own several machines. They are a Style 155 Wurlitzer "Monster", a Limonaire band organ, a Wurlitzer Style 146A band organ with 153 facade and upgrading pipes to 153, a Farrand Cadillac player piano with one terrible problem, and an electronic band organ which I built back in 1987 from the Victor Searle plans, excluding the electronic percussion driver circuit and using direct vacuum pressure.

I would be willing to share my experiences on the Searle plans with anyone who is building or planning on building the electronic band organ. You may call me at (320) 558-2159 or contact me at PERRRFECTGUY@webtv.net .

Happy Holidays to all and Happy Band Organing!

Gordon (Gordy) Forcier

[ Paul wrote in Digest 961221 that he is building a Searle organ and
[ would like to communicate with others. ... What's the "one terrible
[ problem" with your player piano? We enjoy "Horror Stories!" :-)
