Strengthening Old Rolls
By Rocci Cirone

I had a couple old rolls that I really liked which started to get messy
at parts with multiple long notes that were near each other. In fact,
that part of the roll started to get "funky" - all bent out of shape.

So I just carefully glued down 3 or 4 thin strips of paper (really thin
at the holes, a bit fatter at the "anchor points") across the messy
sections and laid a book on them for a day. So far these portions
have worked fine ever since, and I don't have to worry about shredding
them when the roll rewinds.
