Removing Old Tracker Bar Tubing
By Bruce Hannover

Work is proceeding on my Gulbransen Player Piano which, incidentally, turns out to have been manufactured in 1922. (Thanks to Durrell Armstrong at Player Piano Supply Co. for that information.)

I have completed rebuilding the wind motor and am awaiting availability of the table saw at the theatre where I work to saw the stack apart. It seems like it will be a relatively painless procedure.

In the meantime, I am turning my attentions to the tracker bar. I am experiencing some difficulty in removing all of the old gray rubber tubing from the tracker bar nipples.

Could anyone offer me some advice on the removal of the tubing?

Thank You, Bruce Hannover in Dania, Florida.
