Re: Case for Thorens

Regarding the case for the Thorens: I did something like George Fryer but with a Regina upright/countertop case and 11-inch Polyphon movement. Measurements were obtained from a local member with an original case. I took pictures and gave them to a local guy who made a really nice mahogany case for $600.

Additionally, I had him make the back of the case with spruce, plus add a rock maple screw-rod for direct contact from the bed plate to the back of the case. The sound is quite good.
