Introduction and Carrousel Music Co.
By Bill Black
Hi Jody: I learned about the Digest from my friend Matt Caulfield. For several days before I heard from Matt I was getting some calls about my recordings from people who told me they saw it on the Mechanical Music Digest. I didn't know what this source was until I heard from Matt. I've looked over the list of articles and I see a lot of things I'd like to read. I'll see if I can get some from the ftp source. I'm new to this so I will look and watch for awhile before I try to say anything.
My main job is Dentistry and my second business (and the one I like the most) is Carrousel Music. It's a mailorder business I started in 1979 to provide collectors with recordings of restored music machines. Since then I've produced about 80 recordings of mostly band organs and a few other automatic machines. I have a web page at
http://www.carousels.com/cmusic.htm
When you get time take a look. I'll have more time to read the past articles in January since this is a busy time for both businesses. Carrousel Music is popular for "stocking stuffers" type gifts at Christmas.
