This was brought to light this morning when I wanted to refer to bulletin from several months ago. How great just to scroll through th FTP files and find what I was looking for.

[ try. I'm going to periodically post instructions on how to
[ do it. For now, I offer as a reminder, the URLs:

[ There is a complete index of the FTP archive available via the
[ Web page, with links to each digest. The index is long,
[ and takes a while to download, but its probably worth the wait.

[ These URLs (Uniform Resource Locators) can be plugged directly
[ into your Web browser. If you still use FTP the "traditional"
[ way, you can use the following information:

[ hostname: ftp.foxtail.com
[ username: anonymous
[ password: your-email-address
[ directory: /pub/mechanical-music

[ i.e. type: cd /pub/mechanical-music
[
[ Further instructions must come from your Internet Service Provider.

[ I hope more people give it a try. There's some interesting stuff
[ there, including MIDI files written/arranged by some of our members.
