Hi all!
I've been reading with interest the thread re: Audio-Animatronics (tm)(c) etc., WED Enterprises :) (in case any Disney lawyers are reading this!!)
By coincidence, there's a new book being published today, Oct. 1, titled:

Wendy Lefkon writes most of the 'official' guides to the Disney Parks, so this will be an official book as well. It remains to be seen how informative it will be, since it will probably highlight all the bright aspects of the Imagineering craft and reveal only what WED wants us to know.
Also, there's a Web site which has quite a lot on the early days of Disney\WED Audio-Animatronics and the technical side of how it was done in the beginning:
