Dreadful Piano Music - "Tears in my eyes"
By Stephen Kent Goodman

In the article, "Loud Piano Music" (Digest 960828) Robbie wrote:

Just substitute the word "dreadful". This is usually the case when I hear an instrument that has great potential which is either
a. playing out of tune, or
b. badly "restored", or, for that matter,
c. limping along,
which is owned by a collector who doesn't care enough to spend the $$$ on proper restoration and regulation.

[ Ed. Note: Steve, I guess some collections are nothing but pretty
[ furniture, which leads you to believe that the owner is stone deaf!
