Myths versus Knowledge
By Robbie Rhodes

The expression, "The music was so beautiful that it brought tears to my eyes!", is not advertising hyperbole; I have heard it many times myself, when listeners spoke of live piano performances, _and_ of performances rendered by reproducing pianos.

It's real, and it's really emotional. An owner with a truly well- operating piano can enjoy both the music and great admiration from visitors.

Ramble on, Spencer Chase! Carry on the advice, Craig Brougher! Continue questioning, Bill Chapman, and everybody else who has written!

It is my belief that the give-and-take technical discussions appearing herein are accomplishing what more than 50 years of "trade bulletins" couldn't achieve: Dispelling Myths through Knowledge and Understanding.
