Re: Seeburg KT Case Style; Mills Violano

Re: Message from Al Menashe:
Your Seeburg KT case style is very early, and I would say is quite scarce, bordering on being rare. It is the style they used before the eagle glass was my understanding. We have handled perhaps 20 of the Seeburg K line (K, KT, KT Special) over the years and have had only one with this glass. frankly, I don't recall the wood, but I think it was oak.
As to Violanos, we have sold three this year, all in the range of $22-25,000. Generally in what could be termed very good working condition or older restoration, but not new full restoration. These are extraordinarily popular but are not very scarce. However one collector in Chicago bought some 60 of them over the past five years and tightened things up quite a bit. We were just lucky this year, usually we only get perhaps one a year.
Sincerely,
Martin Roenigk
