For Sale: Darlene Mirijanian Estate
By Bob Conant
Friends on the AMI Digest,
We recently received a telephone call from Jan Mirijanian. He and his late wife Darlene have been long time members of the East Coast Chapter of the Musical Box Society International. Darlene passed away about a year ago. Darlene was a prolific crafts artist and anyone who knew of her talent would say that is an understatement. She made designs for Enesco Music Box Co and others. She also made a lot of ornaments for Christmas and shadowboxes with musical movements and dolls and much more. He asked if we knew of anyone who would be interested in craft supplies of which he has a cellar full of. He has boxes of frames, glass, glue, sequins, cloth, ribbon, beads, music box movements, prints including organs and organ grinders and a whole lot more, which he wishs to sell at wholesale and below. He has VERY LARGE quantities of much of these materials. Just recently we visited Jan at their home and purchased some Anton Pieck prints we had been looking for. There are several hundred more!
If you are interested in anything or know of anyone who is interested, call or write to him and be specific about the types of things you are looking for. He can be reached at:
Jan Mirijanian 5015 Akron St Philadelphia PA 19124
(215) 288-5097
Jan travels for his business, so if you can't reach him right away, try again.
Thanks everyone.
