Re: MBSI membership

[ Editor's note: I sent Angelo Rulli and Robin Pratt copies [ of Dean's message prior to posting it to the group last [ night. In retrospect, I'm not sure it was necessary to [ post it to the group, but the responses have been interesting. [ [ I suspect that Robin Pratt's up to his eyeballs in convention [ duties. I hope someone fills us in on AMICA details. [ [ Here's Angelo's response about MBSI membership:
Dear Dean,
Thanks for your perseverance regarding application to the MBSI. It would appear that the reason your request was buried is that it was sent to Frank Rider, who is the past Membership Chair. Frank is really, I mean, REALLY detailed about stuff like this, but I know he's been on the road the past three weeks. That can be the only explanation; even if he is the past chair. Anyway, although your reputation hasn't preceded you (at least not yet to Minnesota), I don't want that to prevent you from believing there isn't something that might prevent you from being a member. Actually, we're quite a diverse group. And a sense of humor is a great asset, as you'll soon find out.
Please accept my regrets at this delay. If you'll e-mail to me your address I'll send you an application and a current magazine.
Thanks again. Looking forward to your reply.
Regards,
Angelo Rulli MBSI Editor
[ Dean, I'd take Angelo up on his offer to get things going. [ Please e-mail to him directly if you have not done so already: [ [ angelor@PioneerPlanet.infi.net [ [ Jody |
