Hello Robbie Rhodes,
I read your message and gathered that the translation went directly into the Digest. Thank you.
1. If your project of punching Wurlitzer music for the Decap develops further, give me the information. In case I should do work for you I would need the Midi file and all specifications for the Decap scale.
2. It might interest you that I am working at this time on a Midi- interface for mounting into a 47-key Frei/Keller organ. The good thing is that It will be possible to play new arrangements produced at the computer -- I work with Cakewalk -- and hear them directly on the organ.
3. What is your specialty? I have inferred from the Digest that you are occupied with Midi-music for organs. I am interested in everything this topic involves!
Best regards, Gerhard Kern
{ A 47-key Keller organ, named "Puppchen" ("Little Doll"), entertains { at the Children's Museum in Hamburg. Its scale -- from Carl { Frei -- has 8 bass notes, and therefore enables more "exploration { of harmonies" than the Wurlitzer 165 with only 6 basses. The 47- { key organ has no Countermelody division, but that's not a problem. { { The control systems employed in some Carl Frei scales are unusual, { in that they use "Presets" instead of traditional "Stops". This { method greatly reduces the need for "re-registration" when more { and more pipe ranks are added to the organ specification. { { -- Robbie Rhodes |
