This file was originally edited to produce a music roll for a Wurlitzer 165 band organ. Unfortunately, no one has a computer- controlled perforator for this format, and I'm too lazy to cut it with a knife. So I enlisted the skills of David Wasson and George Bogatko to modify my Midi file for performance with the Roland Sound Canvas synthesizer. We think it sounds real good -- not quite like a big Wurlitzer organ, but still exciting. You are encouraged to experiment with the "voicing and registration" for your performance at home!

Included in the archive is a lengthy "liner notes" about the music and an interesting history of the band organ. Plug in your synth, turn up the volume, and enjoy a rousing "Military Band Organ Performance".
