For the Netherlands Pianola Association I'm doing a survey on the information to be found on Internet relating to pianola's etc.
If you know about Newsgroups, mailing-lists, ftp-sites or WWW-pages of interest, feel free to e-mail them to me.
I'm the proud owner of an Aeolian Pianola Player ( the real 'Pianola') of 1928, fully restored some years ago. I own about 120 rolls, about 85 European (opera, classic music) old ones and about 35 more recent US-rolls (QRS; popular music, jazz)
Thanks to my pianola I learned a lot about music. And nowaday I'm visiting concerts from time to time. Normally the musicians give a better performance. Sometimes however I prefer the performances my Aeolian and myself are giving !
