Cleaning out shop. 5 player pianos for sale, all built in the late teens or twenties. All the player mechanisms need full restoration.

Wheelock DUO-ART upright, complete except for accordion pneumatics (rest of expression box, incl. valves intact), comes with extra duo-art top stack for parts. Mechanism never restored, original action, ivories, and strings. Cabinet has been antiqued white. In overall very good shape. Has small-type pump, sometimes called the 'tugboat' pump.

Francis-Bacon upright, Standard player mechanism. Cabinet has the original finish, interior rough but complete.

A. B. Chase upright player. Mechanism not the under the keybed type but is fully contained inside the cabinet. Cabinet is painted brown, interior rough but complete.

Grinnel Bros. (Aeolian) Themodist upright. Expression mechanism disassembled. Cabinet is painted but has been partially stripped and is a beautiful book-matched walnut or mahogany (fancy cut). Ivory keytops in good shape. Top stack functions on the bench, but probably should be rebuilt. Piano bench included.

Baldwin Monarch upright. Completely original, cabinet in good shape. Action, keys and strings in good shape. Player mechanism never restored.

The above pianos are for sale as a package for $1200. The Duo-Art alone is worth close to that. I have had some of these pianos for more than six years and have been too busy to restore them, and am tired of storing them. If interested, or for more info., e-mail hgustaf101@aol.com or call me at my shop.
