Introduction
By Merry Hineline

Hi,

My name is Merry Hineline and I am trying to restore the player action of a 1913 Gulbransen piano. This piano belonged to my grandmother who passed away last October. The hoses and "registering piano" (this is what my Aunt called it) was stolen by a tuner many years ago. I a coming to understand that restoring the piano will be next to impossible. I also collect musical powder boxes and have done so since I was a child. I do not own very many pieces as I find they are hard to come by in an antique store.

I live in San Diego not too far from Jody Kravitz. We are enjoying a mild winter evidenced by the wearing of shorts yesterday. I am enjoying reading all of your posts.

Sincerely,

Merry Hineline
