About the RAM System
By Michael Woolf

ABOUT THE RAM

RAM is R.A.M. - Ragtime Automatic Music Co in Ceres, Calif. (I think out of San Francisco rather than L.A.) Ken Caulkins and his crew make retrofit players, buildup orchestrions and band organs using mainly injection moulded plastic products. They also sell kit sets and components. Good people to deal with and the major benefit for us in this part of the world is to make it possible for us to build an orchestrion (a modern concept, not a replica) at an affordable cost. We've completed one and have two more in progress. Usual disclaimer - no connection with the company except as a customer.
