Wurlitzer Orgatron
By Jason Klinger

Could anyone give me any information at all about a WurliTzer Model.20 Orgatron ? I have a chance at getting one for free thanks to a phone call from Dan Wilke. I have no idea of its shape, but the gentleman who owns it speaks quite highly of it. So I guess it sounds sort of promising.

Questions-

1)- About how much does this darn thing weigh ? I need to know how many people I'll need to help me move this monstrosity and how many trips I'll have to make to get all the accessories.

2)- I heard that the electronics in these things go bad after a while. I'd just like to know what to expect when I plug this thing in. If so, how much work is it to get it playing ?

3)- Is the sound of it superior enough, and given it's general rarity (if any at all), would it be worth my while to haul this thing over to my house and see what it's capable of ?

Well, free is better than cheap. A friend of mine recently sold his, and he's a little skeptical on whether or not I should get this thing. Any help and/or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanx !!!!!

Sincerely,
Jason K.
