What would also be interesting, but probably more difficult to find out is who did the work when "famous names" are credited on the rolls. Ampico would say "Blah and the Blah - played by Vincent Lopez, **assisted by E.F.**". Assisted by meaning that Fairchild cut a roll based on what the Lopez Band was doing for the tune. Most times, there is just **assisted**.
