Re: Sage Advice on Player Restoration (Pargeter)
By Robin Pratt

Steve Pargeter,

Sage advice????? Would you settle for Terragon?

The best advice (regarding players) is: Cheaper and faster is not necessarily better.
First class all the way.
The investment is in the enjoyment.
Buy rolls now even when you don't have the piano cause they're not always available.
"RESTORE" it, don't "git it goin'".
Buy what you want.
Don't wait until you retire to restore it cause you NEVER WILL!
Don't hire the cheapest rebuilder.
There's no such thing as a "FREE" lunch.
No "UP-DATING" of mechanisms, please.
You only live once. (And die once, too by the way.)
As my father used to say: If you want it, no price is too high.

Hope this helps.

Robin Pratt
